Friends of LionKingForLife,

9 years ago in December of 2013 I began this website as a way to share my collection and meet other collectors. It has been a real joy conversing with fellow LK fanatics across the globe and sharing our collections, stories, and lives with one another. It's been a fun near-decade and it was so much more than I ever anticipated.

That said, very soon I will be removing LKFL.com from this server. There are a multitude of reasons that have ushered in this necessary move, but the key bullet points here include hosting fees over the years that have doubled and tripled and most recently iPage making the decision earlier this year to forego telephone support and become a strictly chat only tech support business. 

While I do not foresee any incarnations of the site in the near future,  LionKingForLife will remain active, as will my social media accounts.

I have enjoyed meeting all of you, exchanging stories and making many new friends over the years. 

It has been an absolute blast.

I rearranged a few things and added some items that I couldn't fit in to the last batch (above) of pics.

Since the release of Lion King on June 15, 1994 my life (and wallet) was forever altered. The day that I found myself in a Kmart checkout impulse purchasing a pack of LK series 1 trading cards was the beginning of the beginning. Since that moment I haven't looked back and over the years have accumulated a vast variety of items ranging from lunch boxes to action figures to jewelry to cards to puzzles and clocks and everything in between. I personally own all of the items within these galleries. My favorite collectibles (and those I currently pursue) are buttons, trading cards, post cards, phone cards, select action figures, pogs, fast food toys, kinder miniatures, and stickers.   

"How much stuff do you actually have"? is a question that I get asked a lot. The easiest answer would                                                                        be "quite a lot", which roughly translates to "too much, yet never enough."  :)
